The general objective of this Joint Action “European Partnership for Action Against Cancer (EPAAC) for the period 2010 – 2013 is to contribute to the reduction of cancer burden in the EU by actions in the areas of health promotion and prevention, screening and early diagnosis, cancer related health care, coordination of cancer research and cancer information and data. By the end of the Partnership, the objective is for all Member States to have integrated cancer plans. The long-term aim is to reduce cancer incidence by 15% by 2020.
